Associate Professor (Faculty of Education and Educational Sciences), PhD in the field of Philology. Her research interests focus on the language of the second half of the 19th century, the turning point of linguistic norms and the normative relationship between the Zagreb and the Vukovian philological schools, the reflections of this relationship in the language of literary works, and Croatian–Hungarian philological interactions. As a collaborator, she has participated in the research project Language and Style of Local Periodicals (since 2005), in two institutional research projects of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek: The Hungarian Component of Croatian Grammatography in a Digital Environment (2022) and Digitization of Croatian Grammatographical and Paremiological Materials (2023), as well as in two international projects: EFOP-3.4.3-16-2016-00022 QUALITAS – Quality Higher Education Development in Sopron and Szombathely and the GIP project Tracing the German Language, Literature and Culture in Croatia (DAAD Project No.: 57338369). She has also participated in the project Croatian–Hungarian Written Heritage (uniri-iskusni-human-23-131) at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Rijeka. She was the principal investigator of the project Croatian–Hungarian Linguistic Contacts in the Second Half of the 19th Century (UNIOS IZIP-2014-26).
Associate Professor (Faculty of Education), PhD in the field of Philology. Her research interests focus on early learning of the Croatian language, the writing and analysis of textbook materials intended for lower primary school pupils, and reading comprehension strategies for literary and informational texts in primary classroom teaching. She was a member of the Erasmus K2 project Pacemaking the Education and Employment: Answers to New Challenges and Opportunities (project acronym: P-EE; project code: 7E470F9E5337D292).
Associate Professor at the Faculty of Education, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, holding a PhD in Technical Sciences in the field of Mechanical Engineering. In his scientific and professional work, he focuses on interdisciplinary topics at the intersection of engineering, education, and digital technologies. His research interests include artificial intelligence, optimization and scheduling of production processes, human–machine interfaces, digitalization and the application of information and communication technologies in education, as well as the development of cyber-physical systems. He shows a particular interest in the application of modern technologies in educational processes and in exploring possibilities for their integration into teaching and broader knowledge-based social systems. He has participated in several scientific and professional projects and is actively involved in international academic cooperation and mobility programs, particularly within the Erasmus+ and CEEPUS programs.

Full Professor (Faculty of Education and Educational Sciences), Doctor of Arts and University Specialist in Creative Therapy. Her research interests focus on the methodology of visual arts education, visual and fine arts, art therapy, and strategies for understanding works of visual art.
Associate Professor (Faculty of Education), PhD in the field of Philology. Her research interests are primarily focused on the methodology of teaching literature, the methodology of media culture, and the study of local and regional (children’s) literature in both theoretical and applied contexts. She was a member of the Erasmus K2 project Pacemaking the Education and Employment: Answers to New Challenges and Opportunities (Project acronym: P-EE). Vesna Svalina is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Education, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, and holds a PhD in the interdisciplinary field of educational sciences. Her scientific interests are primarily focused on music pedagogy, with an emphasis on the music curriculum in primary education, teachers’ competencies for teaching music, children’s musical creativity, music listening in the teaching process, extracurricular music activities, the identification and development of musical giftedness, and teachers’ work in both direct and digitally mediated environments. She has led and participated in several scientific research projects dedicated to music listening, creativity, and giftedness. Notable among these are the project Listening to Music as a Component of the Music Culture Curriculum, which she led, and the bilateral Croatian–Slovenian project Giftedness in the Arts – Analysis of the Situation among Primary School Students from the Perspective of Visual and Musical Giftedness, in which she participated as a research associate. She is the author of two monographs and more than forty scientific papers published in national and international journals and conference proceedings, including six papers in Q1/Q2 category journals. She has presented her research at numerous international conferences in Croatia and abroad, including conferences in Cambridge (United Kingdom), Copenhagen (Denmark), Istanbul (Turkey), Paris (France), Rostock (Germany), Ljubljana (Slovenia), and Belgrade (Serbia). She also serves on the editorial boards of the journals SN Social Sciences and Journal of Interdisciplinary Art and Education, and participates in conference organization as a chair and member of organizing and program committees.
Associate Professor (Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences), PhD in the field of Information Sciences. His research interests focus on the use of information and communication technologies in education, with a particular emphasis on artificial intelligence, as well as the comparison of different learning models in relation to ICT‑enhanced learning.
Assistant (Faculty of Education and Educational Sciences; Faculty of Dental Medicine and Health) and PhD candidate (Faculty of Education and Educational Sciences), Master of Philosophy and English Studies. In his research work, he focuses on the philosophy of education, ancient medicine (primarily Galen of Pergamon), and bioethics.
