From Reinterpretation to Retrodigitization of School Textbooks in the Croatian Language from the Mid-19th to the Early Decades of the 20th Century

The third working meeting of the project team “From Reinterpretation to Retrodigitization of School Textbooks in the Croatian Language from the Mid-19th to the Early Decades of the 20th Century” (ReDiP, project number 581-UNIOS-51) was held on April 22, 2026, at the Faculty of Education in Osijek. The project leader reported on the submission of the semi-annual report on the implementation of the project’s financial and work plan, as well as on the achievement of the project’s objectives. The deputy project leader, Associate Professor Vjekoslav Galzina, reported on the project funds received (second installment) and the planned expenditures. Members of the project team were provided with laptop computers purchased with project funds for the purposes of field-based scientific and research work. As part of the meeting, Associate Professor Lidija Bakota, together with the project leader, held a workshop on the concept of school textbooks in the 19th century and on searching digital databases in Croatian cultural and heritage institutions. The project team members proposed project activities (applications for scientific conferences and/or workshops) for the second half of 2026.
